Hearing aids are electronic devices that help people with hearing loss hear their voices better.

They basically consist of four main members:

Microphone: Collects the sounds in the environment and receives these sound waves as electrical signals. There may be more microphones at once to reduce the noise of some advanced features.
Processor (Amplifier): Receives, processes and amplifies the electrical signals coming from the microphones. Digital processors can automatically make sound features depending on the person's hearing loss characteristics and noise. Features such as reducing their rates and frequency adjustment are applied in stages in this way.
Speaker: Converts the processed and visible electrical signals back into sound energy and transmits them to the user's ear.
Battery: Provides the necessary feature for the device to work. There is a single charged or rechargeable battery.
Working Principle Step by Step:

Sound Reception: The microphone captures the sound waves in the environment and converts them into electrical signals.
Signal Processing: The electrical loop is transmitted to the device's processor (amplifier). The processor analyzes this separation, reduces noise and emphasizes important sounds such as speech. The ratios and proportions of the sound change according to the type and degree of hearing loss.
Sound Amplification: The processed sound is amplified. In this way, weak sounds become more audible.
Sound Transmission: The amplified electrical energy is sent to the speaker. The speakers convert this ongoing sound waves back into sound waves and transmit them to the user's ear canal.
Hearing: The sound waves reaching the ear are transmitted to the brain via the middle ear and inner ear, as in the normal hearing process, and are perceived here.
Modern hearing aids have much more advanced features compared to analog devices. Thanks to digital processing, sounds can be transmitted more clearly and naturally, can adapt to different environments and can be integrated with devices such as mobile phones thanks to their wireless connection features. Which is the best hearing aid? Let's decide together on the hearing aid that is most suitable for you.
